Useless without shaking hands!
Another one of those boring viral videos. But for some reason this makes me laugh as much as the “All your base” video did …. For the first 300 times anyway. I don’t know if it’s basic cultural insensitivity at play here but the lines “I face pressure, you face pressure!” crack me up, anyways it’s known colloquially as the Bus uncle video, it comes out of Hong Kong so Lil you may appreciate this more than me, or maybe find it offensive I don’t know, you can view it at You Tube of course http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSHziqJWYcM Better get back to the study….!

I didn't laugh. It's not offensive, it's just silly. Cantonese is a complex language to translate and 'I face pressure, you face pressure!' is too literal!
And the swearing, it does translate to the 'mum' phrase but when you say in Cantonese, it doesn't seem as vulgar as the English translation but I would never say it in Cantonese!
Oh the banality of YouTube...

In saying that, I got lazy with my translation when we were in HK. My grandmother cooked us dinner and she was going on about this and that in Cantonese and after a few minutes, I said to Al, 'EAT!' as a summary. :-)
They are both great videos.
It's always a little scary when there are people going nuts in your near vicinity, and you never know when they are going to start throwing punches.
I never knew that the name of that song was The Safety Dance. I've always liked the song, but I had absolutely no idea that there was such a fantastic film clip to go with it. It makes me want to grow my hair out and dance around a village again.
